OK, other than music I have quite a geeky project of making my own lightsaber! Haha! You may be asking right now 'Why? Just why?' Well its really a model making project, good to turn ones mind from a million musical notes every so often and work out some different kind of problem solving. The inspiration comes from about a year ago I was quite ill and watched all the Star Wars films and was inspired transform an old toy I had after watching episode 6.
So originally it was one of these flick out Hasbro toys, I took off the blade, sanded out the middle, installed the copper tube, added my own electrics and light.
I used Miliput to hold everything in and bind it all together.
Finally bound together, now comes the tough bit of sanding down the exterior and re painting it to make it look awesome!
